I've been playing guitar for over 20 yrs now, the site seems extremely useful for beginners and can even be useful to intermediate and veteran guitarists. I was a little shocked to see the actual artists giving the tutorials. How'd your buddy swing that? He must know people. Those artists are doing this for free?? Is anyone making money off this site. I don't even see any adds or anything for sale.

I haven't been playing guitar much since I got into producing EDM, but recently I discovered Guitar Rig 2, from Native Instruments. It's a software guitar effects processor, it sounds freakin great. So I'm actually playing guitar again. I might even record a track or 2, it will probably be really heavy, brutal stuff with tons of distortion and crunch. I'm an old Metal Head. Anyway, check out Guitar Rig 2 if you have an electric guitar, there's a fully functional demo.

My mate said the artists were surprisingly willing to help. Felt like they were 'giving something back', apparently.
