Dont know if anyone has heard about this yet but I figured Rob would get a kick out of this. Always been a fan of the Balance series and this loooks like another solid release. Plus any CD that leads of with 10A one of the favorite tracks of the year get approval from me.

Latest volume in the Balance series is a triple-disc mix from Lee Burridge. 'Balance 012' arrives in September.

The mix is Burridge's first solo compilation since 2003's '24:7', and across three discs presents a tidy snapshot of the current state of house and techno, ranging from deep house du jour (Efdemin, Ferrer & Sydenham, Marcus Worgull), to intricate minimal (Pheek, Onur Ozer) to more pumping techno (Alexi Delano & Xpansul, Paul Ritch, Par Grindvik).

Yup - heard about this a while back and saw the tracklist earlier this week.

I think it looks solid - there are some right classics on there.

Right on yeah it looks like a decent track list so far. Nothing will ever compare to 005 but this is looking like a strong candidate for my second favorite balance compilation. We will have to see, Rob let me know if you end up getting your hands on it. :D

I really think you should try to make it up to the Minneapolis show with us too. Honestly, the minute I walked into Foundation I told Charley and Myra that Foundation was made for Lee Burridge.
