Thats where I used to park wayyyyyy back in the day. I think that is definatly a safer bet, but then you have to think. If cars are getting broken into in a fully lit parking lot, how safe is your car in a dark alley. Thats why I switched where I park years ago. Maybe it is time to switch back. I wonder if the parking guys from the pay lots called enforcement because of all the lost business, I mean really, lets say there are 200-250 cars in the LCBO parking area, multiply that by lets say $7.50 (cause some are cheaper and some are more expensive). That is a total of $1500 to $1875 of lost business. It is just speculation but it really wouldn't surprise me in the least.

it's because it is private property

Craziness... |
Was it a good car? My mom gave me her white sunfire, so I don't think it's as tempting as other cars. Plus when you look from outside, it appears to be a completely bare car. Just trying to judge the likelihood of my car ever being broken into. |

| Yeah it's usually the nicer cars that get vandalize, just more satisfying messing around with a nicer car than an ugly one. My friend's Impreza's tires got slashed after Oakenfold last year at Guv. |

My boys Civic got broken into right there, since then i rather pay for parking than to pay for the whole window. |

I've parked there about 20-30 times in the past 2 years and I've been lucky so far, but I've never parked my golf there, just cars that don't attract much attention, and never left anything worth stealing inside the car
People: If you park your cars in shady areas, don't leave anything visible on the seats or on the floor, if you have stuff in your car, put it under the seats or in the trunk |

It was an older civic...but i believe they saw stuff inside that was valuable...like a deck and other stuff lying around...
Thank goodness I drive my parents C-RV :P There's nothing to steal there..
but when I drive a nicer car, I always park in the Lowblaws..definitely worth it the price knowing my car is safe!
Even if your car gets broken into at the LCBO, i'm guessing that since its after hours on private property, that there isn't much ppl can do about it. |
