No, it's not.
Maths is short for "mathematics".
Would you say "mathematic homework"?
It's like the word "acrobatic". You wouldn't say, "I'm trained in acrobatic", you'd add an "s" on the end. |

its short hand. When there is more than one division we tend to classify. When we care we classify. dont care - declassify.
Ex:
Astro Physics - interesting
High school introduction to physics: boring
we need to separate them
Highschool mathematics: boring
REALLY HARD MATH: boring
its all math! |
