Whoever can answer this question correctly is smarter than my co-workers, family and friends (who are dimwits).
1. You're on a game show.
2. In the final round, the host shows you three doors.
3. Behind one of the doors is $1 million cash. Behind the other two is a donkey. Obviously your objective is to win the million.
4. The host says "stand in front of the door which you think contains the million."
5. You stand in front of a door.
6. The host then says "now, out of the two doors you're not standing in front of, at least one of them contains a donkey (obviously). I am going to eliminate a door with a donkey behind it by putting a big red cross on it." He does this.
7. After that, all that remains is two doors, the one you originally stood in front of, and the other one.
8. The host then says "now, you have a choice. You can either stay where you are, and open that door, or you can swap to the other door.".
9. So - do you swap, or do you stay? Out of the two doors, which will give you a greater chance of winning the million? |

My instinct(SNAIL SENSES) says to switch doors. |

ur instinct is wrong. Stay and you will have a large percent chance of being right. |

Confusing question because step 3 says 2 doors contain donkeys but then in step 6 the host says only one door has a donkey behind it and crosses it out:conf:
So then it seems like perhaps either of the remaining doors would have the million behind it?:conf: |

When your on a game show you're feeling pressured so you're never really going with your gut. |

That.
Seen the mathematics before; it's more complex than I would have guessed but it's true. |
