Latest volume in the Balance series is a triple-disc mix from Lee Burridge. 'Balance 012' arrives in September.
The mix is Burridge's first solo compilation since 2003's '24:7', and across three discs presents a tidy snapshot of the current state of house and techno, ranging from deep house du jour (Efdemin, Ferrer & Sydenham, Marcus Worgull), to intricate minimal (Pheek, Onur Ozer) to more pumping techno (Alexi Delano & Xpansul, Paul Ritch, Par Grindvik).

but all of these tracks are nothing to the untitled monster lee just did....OH MY ING GOD...im trying to get release info and suprised it isnt on here.
and sorry maher...this one is all mine...i had to freaking go through hell to get it
lots of good stuff on this comp...but am also suprised that alot of these tracks are older...lee usually brings it fresher than anyone else. Still looks like a must have for the collection. |

It's being released in October for North America. I can't wait too get it.
One thing his playing 3 times in Canada. I hope he gets booked November 8th or 29th here in Montreal, probably wont happen seeing the 9th he has to be somewhere in Mexico and the 30th he has to be in Romania. |

Very disappointing to see no Montreal date for this tour. This is when I'm glad to say I live in Toronto! ;)
Lee Burridge kicks off a thirty-five date tour next month in support of his 'Balance 12' compilation on EQ.
The megatour will swing through Australia, North and Central America as well as Europe with highlights including the Underworld afterparty in New York with Danny Tenaglia, the Lovefest street parade in San Francisco and a Tyrant night in Mexico with Craig Richards in November. Expect a tidy snapshot of the current state of house and techno delivered with a Cheshire cat's grin.
