| all i have to say is if you missed out then you really missed out on this one, got to the club around 2;15 and bender was starting things off nicely building it up to what was an absolutely fantastic set seriously brought it down proper deffenetly one of my favourit local talents here in montreal track selection was incredible and got that dancefloor jaming. by 430 the place was rammed and bender kept laying it down. when 5 came around benny b got on the decks and delivered a stormer of set must say was not the tightest with the mixing but track selection was sick!!!!! could not last the whole night but im sure it was awsome, if anyone can fill me in on arsens set that would be dope but im sure he ripped it proper |

Duuuuude!
Ok ok...so I was not planning on attending this event AT ALL. Never been a fan of Benny B. I went to Stereobar for Alex's b-day (which was sooo much fun) but then a friend of mine popped out of nowhere around 2 AM and hooked me up with a free ticket for Stereo..since I was still in party-mode I thought why not...Omg the line-up outside was a mile long :S ..thank God I didn't have to wait to get in YIKES!
I walked in there expecting Benny B to suck, but I was pleasantly surprised, and I give credit when credit is due. As Maher said, his mixing was not great but the track selection was fantastic, especially towards the end of his set...oh yeah and Bender was awesome!
I don't know how I lasted till the end, but it was no doubt Arsen's set that kept me there..such a sweet set omg..
Then I was dragged by my friends to Stereobar for one last dance (yeah right)..Bender did not stop dropping bombs, to the point where I went to get my jacket from the coat-check 3 times but then I had to go back cuz 'that' track was just too good...
All in all...t'was a wonderfull night. Good seeing everyone as usual.. you guys rock! :)
PS: Omg I couldn't get over Erika's new look!..she's a brunette now, and a in HOT one! :crazy:

a 2:30, il y avait deja une bonne foule en place pour le set de Bender. Un set intense, très progressif, la foule en délire. Un des meilleurs sets que j'ai entendu de lui à date. Mixage solide, flow impeccable.
5:00 Benny Benassi. Il a commencé smooth, ça dû prendre 30-60 minutes avant qu'il joue plus électro. En gros c'était un bon set, un peu inégale, mais quelques grosses montés qui ont vraiment vallu la peine.
7:45 Le dance floor commencait a pas mal se vider, Arsen prend place dans le DJ booth pour entâmer ce qui s'avèra être le set de sa vie. D'un coup le dancefloor du stereo s'est mit a revivre, non stop jusqu'a 10:30. Un set electro-house, assez hard, energique, Arsen droppait bombe après bombe, j'ai rarement vu un stereo aussi allumé entre 8 et 10 le matin, Arsen vole la vedette à sa première présence au stereo. Rappelez-vous de ce nom, vous aurez la chance de l'entendre au piknic avec aquaviva dimanche prochain.
Bref un autre événement du bal en blanc très réussit avec des locaux qui ont sû démontrer qu'ils n'ont rien a envier aux internationaux. |

Yea Erika's hot stuff now :P.
I went to stereo at 10am. My friend Barillo, who visited from Poland, finished his set at Circus and we desperatly wanted to show him Stereo. I just heard Arsen but the music was amazing, and as usual the sound was mega impressive.
Fun times. |

| J'ai vraiment pris mon pied quand Arsen a embarqué avecd une toune dirrectement sortie de l'enfer. J'avais déjà entendu parlé de lui mais j'aurais jamais pensé que Montréal pouvait produire un pareil monstre!!! et la finale avec The Godfather!!! J'ai un nouveau dj préféré. Arsen on se revoit au Piknik!!!!!! |
