there are 2 guys at the gym who always stares at me, not sure if they are checking me out or trying to make eye contact to see if im interested, it just freaks me out that i see them every day in the gym and never care to acknowledge them with a head nod or a whats up because frankly when im working out, it's just me and my music and i don't really want to spend any time flirting with girls or being a social butterfly...it's not that type of place for me i guess
even more freaky when they try to 'jump in' for a few sets or work out right next to me when there are like 3 other empty benches to work on. not my thing |

evolution is a bitch...
i've never paid attention to this? how self-absorbed can you actually be to think another man is checking you out? Feels a bit insecure, but yeah seems like an awkward disposition. |

at least they don't ask to "spot you" on the bench or something.
even then, however, if it was some random dude that you didn't know, and didn't know his sexuality, would that bother you?
what do you(and by you, i mean c0r) find more **awkward** or uncomortable....someone approaching you and you know they are gay, or someone approaching you and you don't know if they are or not?
or does it even matter?
honestly, i don't care....as long as there isn't any touching. any hands on my thighs better be of the female sex. |

It doesnt usually matter. I don't mind friendly chat, and if they buy me a drink, all the ing live long day. Free booze.
If they start crossing the straight man boundary like touching then I'll let them know. |

True that. I've been out with a couple of gay friends before and they do manage to easily be-friend hot women, who can instantly tell they're not out to them for all their worth.
This, in turn, makes them feel more comfortable in gaymen company, then you can make your move. |

actually, i grew up in chicago:toothless
i was just wondering what people felt about that "unknown" factor or whatever. i mean, do you absolutely have to know someones sexual preference ? or does it not matter? |
