Anyways, back to my point, Ferry Corsten, or GOD as I'm now calling him, is ing awesome! If anyone knows where I could get ahold of some of his live sets, I'd totally dig any info. I'm all about live sets as I like to see if the DJ can think on his feet, which I'm sure GOD can.
Thanks kids!
Also, for the record, I went back and bought the other CD the next day! That's great that I'm spending money too because I just quit my job! Go figure! | im sorrry but ur an idiot...how can u call ferry corsten a god or any other dj a god...u are the lamer of the week.

HA! I know he's a good producer, don't get me wrong. But I was just commenting that I think he's an incredible DJ. It's not necessarily a rock that I'm living under persay, but let's just say that it's a large stone that is a 56k modem, which makes it difficult to DL any live sets or anything over 15 minutes. God I hate this area.
Which brings me to whoever called me a lamer: Let me again remind you of my location, it's not like there are exactly clubs-a-plenty around here. Sure, there are plenty in Chicago, but since Engergy 92.7 & 5 has started up, every club has been taken over by that radio station so the closest thing to Trance available is the occassional Darude tune on the radio (I'M NOT KIDDING HERE!!!).
Dude from Orland, I'm from Braidwood, it's about 1/2 an hour south of Joliet. So you understand my plight, eh?
And again, I know "Such and Such is God" posts are stupid, but I know how everyone out there feels when they hear an amazing song or band or artist for the first time, you want to spread the word just in case other's haven't heard them. I mean, I'll never forget the first time I listened to "See Emily Play" by Pink Floyd, that was probably the only thing I talked about for at least a month. Or when I saw the movie "Waking Life."
These are incredible times we live in, and I really think it's an incredible event that we can share our likes and dislikes in such an organized and publicized fashion. The internet is amazing because we can all share these amazing discoveries, even though we're not really discovering anything that some else hasn't. I mean, when I started signing on to Tranceaddict, I knew nothing about Trance music, and knew I knew nothing. But I've learned a lot, and I'm still learning, one DJ or Producer at a time. So thanks to everyone for posting, I love it when I can start a conversation that is entertaining for everyone!
Thanks True Believers! |
