Yeah I watched it the other day..pretty interesting stuff. I have more in depth thoughts on it, but I have to go to work. :/

I hope people don't seriously believe this type of entertainment.

It is full of conspiracies, (unfounded) accusations and fact-less statements/conclusions.

The problem I have with movies like this is that they try to present themselves as factual - when in reality they are compendiums of fiction.

thanks for the post...it was entertaining...

though it is nothing new... its really 3 other documentaries rehashed as one.

Part 1 I can't cite now but know I've watched
Part 2 was Loose Change (even used clips from it)
Part 3 was America Freedom to Facism.

Still entertaing to watch. But I don't see the revolution.

I think the problem isn't that people are dumb or don't 'know' what may or may not be going on...

it's that more people are selfish, greedy, and don't care about anyone else but themselves. Survival of the fittest. Those bankers sure are winning though.

Jimi felt the love!!! never saw his quote until I watched this;)

pretty much, they own the world..

i watched some of the religion part at a friend's... using examples like that is like trying to prove a formula by substitution, when there are existing theories such as comte's positivism and marx's sociology of religion that cover all bases in any society... which are a lot more boring than liberal documentaries, so most people don't bother to educate themselves on it

i will watch the rest soon enough

I just finished watching this today and I'm totally speechless and appalled in the same time.

It's good that to see that they actually back up their arguments with things that seem plausible; it's good that the truth is brought up to the surface...now I'm starting to think that Fidel is doing a very well with his country.

it's the easiness of how easily people can be manipulated to do things that gives the baker the absolute power;the banker is wealthier by the second, anyway... sigh ...

It sickens me to think where the world is heading towards; we're the slaves running the system.

What's wrong with that? Why should the rich and powerful be faulted for being, well, rich and powerful?? Why should they feel any obligation to the "weak"? that . The capitalist in me says, "Good for you, greedy bankers! Take take take!!!"

Anyways, propaganda and paranoid conspiracy stuff aside, I think this video does a good job of at least one thing; provoking people to actually THINK about and question the stuff going on around them.

you put that good; fool the stupid and get away with it...the number one rule in any business anyway ...

but I'm not sure you remember the part were the banks own the governments which, (if the case were true), s every one of us in the arse at tax time, when the government is pretty much covering its interest cost to the bank for borrowed money;
where was that tax anatomy I once saw in one of the threads, this and that % goes to services and the rest to the city, and seeing how Toronto seems to be always short in cash (or maybe it's a misconception ) as they're always trying to make more money one way or another...i.e. increase tax or TTC fares or god knows what else... I'm only guessing that some of that money goes for some sort of interest owned.
