They played a longer set last night than they did at Coachella btw. Their encore was also way WAY better. I thought this was much more fun than Coachella only because it was closer to home :p
I'll admit the Coachella set was better only because it was my first time seeing them, I'm pretty sure that's how everyone that saw them at Coachella felt too.
One thing though...TOGETHER!!! TOGETHER!!!! TOGETHER!!!! |

Clovis and the rest who gripe about their set being the same, what do you expect? It's a live act, so they've got to have some kind of format to their presentation. I wasn't blown away like I was Coachella, but it's cool, cuz Daft Punk concerts are more than just going to see them play their songs. It's an experience on itself, as I'm sure you can agree.
Yes, I can understand your dissapointment in the rehashing, but you can't deny the energy, excitement, and grandeur of their concerts, not matter how many times you will or have seen them, and no matter how similar they are. I could've seen them the very next day, and I could care less if it was the same exact thing, cuz that's what you go for: for their act, not their tracklisting. |

I have now uploaded all the videos I recorded. I am bummed I didn't get a chance to record that Busta Rhymes beat, I was poundin back a beer during that. Haha. Enjoy all the videos!

since their lights show is synched to the music, it would take a lot of work to re-work that...since they don't have any new tunes since last year, it was different enough for me from Coachella.
the show last year was so unexpectedly amazing i think it would be hard to top that or even live up to it...but i had a blast and IMO it was just as good as last year. |

Its the same show as Coachella because it was basically the same tour that got prolonged. The Coachella performance was the ALIVE tour and this performance was the ALIVE tour too. They were only suppose to play Coachella but the set was so dope that they extended it to all of these shows.
I could notice the diffrences from the Coachella set. Then again I have watched the DVD a 1000x! |

Earlier in the night (during ratatat), we saw two people jump down; one made it down fine, but the other person hit someone...we saw the security guards grab them both...

We presumed this was the case along time ago (and was confirmed from the set times sent out on Thursday; that's why we all made plans for after parties elsewhere.
I do think that they should had an official (or-semi-official) after-party like they're doing in other cities... |

I did some searching on TMB, Dimeadozen and Demonoid and found nothing yet.

Thank you John ( Orbital32) for getting the tickets and flying out here to experience this event with us! You rock! I owe you big time! It was fun just to experience it, at least I can say I saw them!
