My first up Ableton Mix. Would love some critique. I am not happy with the levels on some tracks and the programming in parts loses the momentum. So much to learn with this program. Can only get better and better ;). Going to Clovis's ableton school next semester :whip:
All tunes hand selected by my good self. Personally love each and every track in this set.

I know I've been slacking when it comes to reviewing your recent mixes, but I promise to have a solid review of this soon.
I'm actually doing alot of stuff in Ableton at the moment in preparation for my next mix that I'm gonna put up (something definitive), so I've got a fresh look on it. |

Don't be too concerned about this one. The tunes are great but I killed the mix I think. About a 5/10 all and all. Next effort will be less of a bang up and a bit more care taken. |

| Gave this a listen today. While I did like the tracks you picked, it really didn't seem like there was much cohesion amongst them. It might have had something to do with the Ableton mixing, which as you admitted yourself you're still working on - and also you admitted some of the levels were a bit off on some of the mixes. Just keep at it, I've always been impressed with your previous mixes so I'm sure you'll be on top of the program in no time. |

Totally agree with all of that. Watch out when I do get a handle on this program though :cool:
Seriously though , it is a different vibe you get doing an ableton mix as you aren't essentially listening to each track on the fly unless you chose to do so ( not yet for me ;) )
When I post something I am happy with I will certainly let you know mate. |
