Not too long ago i bought an efx500 and have been using over the master volume as i thought this was all i could do with the 32 but after reading the thread about the xone:92, i tried adapting it to the 32 so i could make it channel sensitive but didnt get very far.
I plugged the efx 500 into my unused channel and after some fiddling around i finally got my volumes right (so i didnt have big jumps in volume when i turned the efx unit on) but when ever i used an effect, it was layered under the original track and wasn't clear enough.
The 32 doesnt have any return ports and the crossfader is already set to channel A and C so i assume what ive tried is right but i might be missing something. If any one else has been successful, your advice will be apreciated.
While i'm hear, what have others found to be the best way to record from a&h mixers? what audio interfaces are being used? |

Uh, use the RCA record output on the mixer? |

well you can always set one cdj's out to the efx's in and from the efx's out to the mixer's in using RCA cables...but this will limit you to one cdj only!
you might wanna post this in the A&H forums too!! |

| from the aux out of your xone to the efx and from the efx to the middle channel line inputs, easy as that, unless you have all your line inputs already used. |

that's your solution /\
and as for volume changes on the main/record outputs.. you can in/out gain on the efx500 very easily |
