| I like at least a third of the tracklisting. That is pretty good for a trance set these days. It's probably because there are some memories in there - Greece 2000, Madagascar, Silence, Push Through, Barber's Adagio For Strings, Fly Away, Rapture, Born Slippy... |

i also like how an American and an Australian have commented on 2 British DJs, seemingly with little knowledge of the actual DJs.... my bet is that you rarely, if at all, listen to Radio1 on a weekly basis. I doubt you've ever seen either of them live djing, i doubt you've ever been to a radio1 live roadshow, but ive no doubt your the best person to give an educated opinion!

everyone knows who Dave Pearce is!
I didn't know that listening to Radio one made you an expert on music & djs, though. I'll have to spread the word, though. A lot of ignorant people I know will be most thrilled to hear the word of such a worldly individual as yourself! Perhaps now we may finally appreciate the true awesomeness of dave pearce, with our newfound enlightenment!!!!
In any case, I have nothing to contribute to this gem of a tl, so I'll leave you to your discussion. Surely such discourse is far beyond anything I could ever comprehend. |

I was hating on Pearce because of his top trance hits show he had on Radio1, which I did actually tune into every now and then.
Also I am from Canada, and listen to radio1 on the net, and have done so since they introduced the feature. Maybe our American and Aussie friends are doing the same?

Dave Pearce fukin rocks end of story. always has done always will. Just cuz he took on the Dance Anthems tag due to his radio one show people think they are gona get a suck my gorgonzola fest if they see him in a club setting.

so apparently every other trance dj is playin cheese right now according to mr inconspicuous cos armin, tiesto, above and beyond, ferry and many others are all playing the exact same tracks dave pearce played in this set...how bout u listen to dj sammy cos hes always on american radio..even in the corn central of the midwest and then talk about whats cheese.
think u need to redefine what u call cheese cos it seems like you have no idea..have some respect for one of the most entertaining djs there is..and like the other guy said if u dont like 2 party then dont knock the classic anthems that dave likes 2 play because he knows what the crowd want to hear..which is what a dj is there 2 do..please the crowd so they can have a killer night!
dave pearce has done so much for dance music u have absolutely no clue! |
