uck let creator play..he would draw more then flemming...anything thats keeps the place open.Just with the RM groupies he has its always busy.
I'm afraid it's not that easy and obvious. I wish it was but it's not. Very few local talent can pull off big numbers and make money for a club. Aside Tiga and Misstress, the only name that would come to mind would be maybe be Danny Torrence, then again he plays on Saturdays.
Don't get me wrong, I have a nice following and obviously I am a profitable DJ, but my name alone can't draw numbers like 400-500-600 people on a regular basis. If so, maybe Aria would still be open ;-)
Friday is a though night, i'm still pretty much a stranger to the Mtlnights and Stereo crowd and names like Vibe, Calderone, Chus & Ceballos and Morales gets most of the draw. So fridays are pretty much up for grabs and if a good trance night can pull good numbers, well good for them.

as much as ANF says some sometimes..... he is right on certain points regardless of the trance nights or not. It not only about Stereo but also about the scene and the way things are going now ... it a cycle ... things will change a lot over the next 2 years belive it or not.

i do say to provoke, but as i stated previously..i will never comment on a dj i have never seen live.;)
vicci its cool you guys are trying to do stuff..but psy trance at stereo makes no sense whatsoever.I'm not saying it wouldn't make sense in montreal but just not there. And Pezcore the candy raver is right...i'm like the bad guy in wrestling..the more you boo the bigger hard on i get.
i saw trance this weekend and not one person danced..where is the fun in standing there like a zombie.

He is one of the only trance dj's that doesn't play commercial fluff, and i have seen him 2 times. I was more pointing towards the psy trance at stereo...i can't imagine candy kids there.
If you want i'll even quote the post in music discussion from a few weeks were i actually give props to John 00 himself (he is a TA and posts on occasion in music discussion)...To me this is like booking Frankie Knuckles at Le Chill Montreal. Forgive me guys i'm bored as ...there is nothing to do in the states during the week and the women are hags.:p
