I think you're looking for something like this:

However, I'm really not a big fan of restricting mixes to tracks that are perfectly in key. There is a whole thread about that debate here: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forum/s...67&forumid=8&s=

i choose the songs... not the keys
screw mixing in key!

Umm, it's a tool you use as you see fit.

What if you had 2-3 tracks you want to play next, why not arrange them in key? It really DOES make a difference.

I have mixed reactions when it comes to this.. i dont care about the number (talking about the camelot), but ill definatly care about the letter whether its a minor or a major, i only care about the number and the letters together when switching from minor to major..

Considering there are almost NO EDM tracks in major keys, that really doesn't matter much, now does it?

This is basic music theory. Each major key has a relative minor and vice versa. The camelot wheel is nothing more than the circle of fifths arranged with numbers. C goes to G, because G is 7 half steps above C (the perfect 5th), and around the wheel you go until you come back full circle.

The number and the letter are really the same damn thing.
Ryan0751
I think he meant "a or b" to indicate major/minor, not the actual letter of the key. I think. It didn't make much sense regardless :)

Oh yea there aren't any majors, so I want even thinking about that.

basilisk
Out of 10,000+ tracks in my database, fewer than 100 are in a major key... and some of those are slightly suspect :)

Yeah! And screw beatmatching too!
Zild
Yeah screw beatmatching! If I want to play a happy hardcore track after a deep house track I damn well will! I'm not letting the tempo dictate what I play because I make the decisions not the BPM!
