It's because in LA, you have to be seen driving the ritzy car. That's why there are less "busts" in NYC, where you have someone drive you.

You know you never really think about it, but it must suck pretty hard being a celebrity.
I mean ok tons of money and fame and cruising around to exclusive clubs and bars doing blow sounds great, but having to deal with constantly having your every action analyzed and publicised, and not really being able to just go out in public all the time in the way normal people do, must really suck. Why do you think they hang out with other celebrities at exclusive nightspots? You think some of these people stand a chance of having a decent night out anywhere normal?
People jump all over these celebrities for the slightest transgression, when it's the kind of thing normal people do all the time.
Ok, Lindsay, she's a coke slinging whore who likes to drink, big deal, so are lots of women, just leave the poor girl alone and let her get back to doing lines off dicks or whatever it is cokefiends do.
One the one hand they've got all the people idolizing them and treating them like gods, on the other they've got the kneejerk reaction to that, the people who jump all over them for every move they make.

Don't forget the hanger-on-ers... Nothing quite like 4 million people in your ear telling you what to do and how much you rule.
At the same time, if they want to drink and get coked up that's their choice. I don't really care if people are chemically enhanced. I have a problem when they get behind the wheel. I don't let my friends drive f-d up. If you have $12000 to drop at Hyde, then spend the extra $200 and get a driver to take you home. Hell you have a bodyguard with you! |

i'd say the good outweighs the bad.
the best is being a B-list celebrity. you still have a decent chunk of money but no one cares about you. |
