| I greatly appreciate the help, everyone. You've given me several options to look at, at the very least. I wonder if my box will run GTA:SA? :conf: |

Forza 2.
IN ANAL. My buddy bought the whole setup.. force feedback steering wheel..he even has an f1 cockpit which he did for a school project years ago..
Best racing graphics ever.. and its realistic too.
I go to his house every other day just to play the game. |

Don't worry, it won't happen again until October 14, 2009. |

GTA:SA is pretty scalable.

I guess there's a rumor that the 360 might drop in price by between $50 and $100 on August 8th, so maybe it'll be more in your price range.
Oh...and don't shoot the messenger if that's not true. |

I'd really like MS to get the "red ring of death" worked out first. :whip: |

i got a new xbox with forza1 for like 120 a year or more ago, you should be able to get that...GTA SA on the xbox is doable also|

Well, it's a pain, but Microsoft did just extend their warranty, so you're set in case of a "red ring of death" for three years (IIRC). Each time you send it in to get fixed you do get a free month of XBox Live...not saying that makes it better. I've been lucky enough to never have the thing go bad (knock on a huge-ass piece of wood), but I do know of a few people who have gone through a couple. The big thing seems to be proper ventilation. |

you'd be hard-pressed to call GTA a racing game. |

Agreed. Again, I'm looking for any type of driving sim, not just racing per se. Running around in GTA totally tanked = good times. |
