Looking for an awesome website designer

Thinking about building a commercial website - need to find someone with really good design and coding skills that can do this. I've talked to a few people that have quoted me between 5k and 10k and about 6 months to fully complete for what I want, but they seem to be really good at coding (and their graphics stink) or the other way around. The person I thought I was going with (and old friend that's done other sites for me) is swamped and not it could be awhile before we're able to get everything finished. Anyone know any good recommendations? Thx!

To clarify, this wasn't an issue. The price if fine if the design is worth it.

If youre willing to take on a college student as a designer I could employ industry standard techniques as I took a Human Computer Interaction course here in the passed year and have been using it ever since on developing small sites here and there. My main site is still in beta but it provides a good basis on what I am like IRL.

Keep in mind that that graphic work is very primitive in its nature due to me still honing my photoshop skills. If you feel that that site isnt sufficient enough for me to take on the task you have then feel free to send me small jobs that I could do and my rates are reasonable as well. I am working on a few projects that are not listed there as those are still in their earliest stages of development.
