Broken power switch on DJM600 ?

Via Fed-Ex, I shipped a mint condition ( I barely used it) to a friend of mine and when he unpacked it he found that the power switch was stuck in a depressed position and thus he couldn't turn on the mixer. He needed it for a a gig this weekend. Any ideas ? The unit left in perfect shape and was bubble wrapped like crazy, but I didn't write fragile all over the box, so maybe the mixer got vibrated too much.
Could it just be a spring or is something worse ? Easy fix ? |

| I'm not sure about an immediate fix, but if you shipped it insured, you should be able to get money from FedEx to cover the repairs. |

Not sure if it's insured since I just simply shipped it via my employer's account. I did declare it's value to be $1000.00. I was more concerned just in case it got lost.
Just hoping for a quick fix so my friend can do his gig. |

| Thats an easy part to service... contact Pioneer parts in Long Beach, CA... they can sell you a replacement switch, and with some common sense you can have it swapped out pretty easily and inexpensively. |
