well i'm going away to playa del carmen on saturday and was just very pleasently surprised to see dj heather will be playing the night we arive at a club called la santanera :cool: i remember by chance 3 years ago, johan gielen was playing in cancun!
if you're going to ibiza etc. you expect good djs, but its a nice surprise when going you're going someplace thats not known for getting international talent.
any places you guys have been and caught good talent when you didn't expect it? |

| Last month when I was in Nice I was surprised to see a very professional DJ booth set up in a lounge right on the main beach there - we went back later in the week and they were pumping out some great tunes! (no idea who the DJ was, probably some local most likely) |

It was happening while I was on vacation in a tiny resort town of Llloret De Mar, Spain. I had no idea it was happening while I was there. When I found out about it later, I wanted to shoot myself. For those that don't know the significance of the lineup, imagine the TOP 50 Trance/House DJs performing at one festival. |
