Should it read "A US cat that is reportedly able to sense when a nursing home's residents are about to die is baffling doctors"? Or, perhaps, "A US cat that is reportedly able to sense when a nursing home's residents are is about to die is baffling doctors"? |

But if "residents" is in the plural form, and "nursing home's" is working just as a modifier, shouldn't the article agree with the noun? That indefinite article looks kinda superfluous... |
