From what I'm aware, we took land away from palestinians, gave to the israelites, then expected the others to accept it. if that's a good decision, show me a bad one. Anyway I don't hate israel, I dislike the fact that it dictates so many policies cos of stupid decisions in the past.
btw. being british is a thing of the past. maybe for our passports, but learn to decipher between "english" "scottish" "irish" and "sheepshaggers" in the future please :) |

last i checked the romans conquered the area and called it "paletstine". then after wwII the area of "Israel" was recreated and the jews had a "home" again. |

It's more to do with scotland & less so, wales, getting their own parliamentary organisations, which in the future will lead to much more decisions & power for each country, which eventually I see leading to a lot more independance. Not a bad thing, they all deserve their own identities in this day & age.

Palestine as I know of it, was an area with both jewish & islamic inhabitants. When Israel itself was 'created' it moved people to one or the other. That's where a lot of the hatred comes from imo. Kicking people off their own land isn't going to be taken well, and no wonder there's problems there. It's just another problem on the grander scale that I don't see going away soon. |
