hey guys. Not going to patronise you with my broken deutsch here, but basically I have a friend who is looking at getting away with her bf for new years (3-5 days span) and I suggested Berlin. She asked me to back it up, so if anyone can give me an idea of the kind of scene they'd be greeted with excluding huge parties as her bf is a bit of a tool music wise, I'd appreciate the help. I'd have asked Michi but he's probably too busy with his Michael Ballack impressions :toothless
Danke :) |

great scene there when it comes to techno/minimal/techhouse, also a lot of great places to here rock and jazz as well
friendly crowds, music that's just a step above anywhere else, and also a very cool city to just hang out in
tell them to try to stay in the old east, maybe kreuzberg. a little cooler and more raw than the west
as far as clubs, check out panoramabar/berghain, watergate, tresor, maria am ostbahnhof :thepirate |

Check out Alexanderplatz mate, quite a nice area of Berlin :-)
I REALLY REALLY REALLY recommend a nice restaurant to eat in Berlin, especially for breakfast there (Cosmique will back me up on this).
I cant think of the damn name of the place, will find out :-) |
