| Strahan is getting up there. I'm not surprised that he's contemplating retiring. He's been a top notch defensive end for years and years. One of my favorite defensive players ever to be honest. |

that's why it's hard for me to get into football. It seems like no one is devoted to a specific team. Even worse, it seems like football is the one sport where it's okay to like a team that plays 1500 miles from your home. As an example, why the are natives of NY and NJ liking teams like Dallas, washington, and pittsburg? That just doesn't happen in baseball. I don't know anyone from my town that likes the friggin LA Angels or the Detroit Tigers.
Further, it seems like people don't even give a if their team wins, as long as the point spread holds, or their fantasy players have a good week. Football is the worst sport as far as devotion. It's popularity is fully attributable to fantasy leagues and gambling. I have no problem with that, but the NFL is certainly not the most popular league in terms of numbers of 'true fans'. |

With there being only 16 games, it's much easier to follow games far away from you. I can be a New Orleans Saints or Green Bay Packers fan and see the majority of their games on T.V. |

lol no need to get angry, sir. I never watched america football in brazil so when I moved in 2002 I liked the rams right away. A fan ever since. And nah it was because of Holt and Bruce that I liked the rams, awesome WR's. |
