I don't see how your two statements relate. You can build a night by playing trance as well can't you? If I was playing a classic trance release party I would stick solely to trance for the most part. I can understand why most people would be ticked off, considering if they didn't want to wait until 3 am to hear trance..

For the most part... he DID play trance!
My statements make perfect sense. You build a night playing slower less popular tracks, IE. House, then build into trance, which he played for a good 4+ hours, then bring it down a notch and play more slower tunes towards the end of the night again. What's so wrong with that?
The man spun for like 7 friggin hours (whatever, he played a long-ass time on those decks!). So stop your ing crying, because the trance that he did play was uningbelievable! And to hear people bitch about some house being played, or 1 or 2 tracks they disliked...

Ummmm, pretty much all the tracks he played were brought out of retirement. And how exactly would you have been disappointed? If there were no trance, no friends, crappy sound, too packed, and the DJ sucked??? well none of that happened... you missed out on probably one of the BEST trance nights to grace this city this year!
EvilTree
'Most' is more than half the night, Kris :p Actually, I think he played more house than trance
Mortyman
I was right by the floor bassbins most of the night... and my vibrating body was more imortant than the sound quality on these videos :p
When they announced the CD giveaway... which I was the first to get :p
