| ^^ there are no tickets but they ask you to make a donation when you enter the event site. i believe there's a charge for the after party though. |

i'm still seeing flights in the range of around $500 .. that's nuts. you can fly to Europe for that price..
maybe cheaper from Buffalo?
-1 to North American flight taxes and rates..

chemical brothers are playing at the official preparty. tickets for that show can be found here: http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/1148382
lee burridge is also headlining the official pre-party afterparty that same night: http://www.groovetickets.com/orders...6&PGname=Listed
the parade itself is a free event from 11:30am-9pm, though it did cost the organizers hundreds of thousands of dollars to obtain the city permit, so a $5 donation is asked, but not required, of all people who attend :)
there are also some big after-afterparties and undergrounds that haven't been announced yet ;) |

I was looking a while back and you could fly to LA for abour $350US w/ taxes from Buffalo.
And that wasn't even looking that hard, so i'm sure you could find some a bit cheaper.
They over week long parking, for $48US for 7 days. |

True.. though if you take the distance into account, it's the same distance from here to SF as from here to Portugal.. when I went our flight was around $550 direct nonstop from Toronto and return had one stop in Chicago. (American Airlines)
If you go take the BART (subway) from the airport straight into downtown.. it's sweet.
For those planning on going - there's a subforum for it now - http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...p?s=&forumid=97 |
