I had a long discussion about 4 years ago with one of the lads about this. We came up with the winner :D
You are tied up in a standing position such that you cannot move at all. A small bath is next to you, containing one hungry piranha. Your foot is put in the bath and the piranha allowed to feast. Once the piranha is full, he is taken out and your foot is removed, salted and burnt shut. A new, hungry piranha is put in, and your foot put back in again. This continues until your leg is gone. THen the other leg. Then both arms, then rest of you.
The wound is burnt shut to prevent blood loss.
If you pass out, the torture is stopped and continued once you wake up.
