No it's not. Have you ever even been here?

There's still a decent amount of trance events over here, even more so because it's summer at the moment, some beach parties and stuff.

We've got a fairly broad EDM scene here, with decent line-ups for almost every genre each weekend. Maybe not every weekend for trance, but still, there's enough to be found.

If your a real trance addict you will understsnd this...

I love trance, floaty proggy trance.

I live in the UK and apart from the big events which do happen quite often at godskitchen/gatecrasher etc... I never seem to find enthusiasm for a general trance/house night out compared to in europe

The big events only have the top djs (maybe im being spoilt) but when you listen to trance all the time you dont always want to here cheap croud pleasers that some djs will play.

When I've been to europe I havent been looking for it but clubs I have been to generally have good house/trance and everyone is loving it even the girls and without too many drugs about.

I was in Prague the other weekend and there was generally more of a dance vibe/real enthusiasm for the music.

I want to live breathe and work where my favourite music is most worshipped, I know belgium is big for dance music.

I'm starting to think I'm going to have to learn another language and move to where Trance is more around possibly in mainland europe.

I love producing it and djing it alongside my I.T career which I have just begun fresh out of uni.

Ive felt frustrated for ages that not enough people I know love it as much as I do and feel im missing out on something BIG.

I need somewhere to feed this addiction and give me inspirations for my productions.

Somebody..anybody!!

i don't normally bother to reply to such idiotic posts, but since you are british, as am i, i feel strangely compelled to do so. choosing a country to live in on the basis of the "trance being worshipped" there is one of the most incredibly stupid ideas i've ever heard. instead of considering lifestyle, expenses, proximity to home and your support network etc you consider trance as the main factor? if trance was worshipped in sierra leone would you go there? i hope not.

secondly, there js somewhere much closer to home where you can move to, which actually satisfies pretty much every point above - London. FFS, you can go to turnmills every friday if you want to hear trance, and there a million nights under the sun, a million ty bars you can send your demos to etc. also, do you realise why trance will never be mainstream? why would you want everyone to listen to the same thing as you.

you're clearly young and have no clue. look closer to home rather than having wild dreams about learning another language and moving somewhere where you have no friends, no support network etc just because you think you might listen to more trance

I'm going to hazard a guess, Ireland?

Friends from over there say, there's a general appreciation for EDM and hip-hop is almost non-existent?

C'mon, can you imagine an irish rapper?

Definatly not Florida, though it's starting to get popular.

I'm guessing anywhere in Europe.

I would say Poland and - mixed more with EuroDance - the Czech Republic and Slovakia (Prague was a good guess).

Definitely not here in Germany - Trance is dead here although some Electro DJs play stuff that sounds like early Trance...
