UHN is considered one health facility with different sites, not unlike Hamilton Health Sciences, so technically, that's correct. |

hahaha halifax got #2, i grew up there, and its reasonably 'nice' but its really not that great at all
if you went on a vacation to halifax, you would run out of things to do after your second day |

Let's just all agree that the people that were making this list missed out on a few important categories that define how "nice" a city is to live in.
Edit: Except SpinLaden, he's welcome to continue believing Ottawa is the best city in Canada. |

Cosmic, I'm suing you for slander :whip:
read the first post. I'm stuck here and can't get out. Granted, Ottawa has reasonable real estate prices, greenspace, tons of schools per capita, low crime rate, lots of gov't and high tech jobs, excellent night life outside edm, and some dirty ass strip joints :tongue3
The past two months, I've been to Montreal, Vancouver (I'll brag about THAT city, that's where I'm from), TO and Calgary so I've got a good idea about what all those cities have to offer. Calgary is Ottawa's size but too expensive to buy real estate. TO and Van are also too pricey and Montreal is always under threat of separation (waits for Malek to chime in:p).
I'll be the first to admit that the best thing about Ottawa is that it's close to Montreal and TO.. |

I lived in Gatineau for a while. That place was great to live in...
Why the would they bundle up Ottawa with Gatineau???
Maybe Gatineau and Hull...but not Ottawa...
Its like putting Toronto/Hamilton together instead of Toronto/Mississauga...
Retarded! |

They shouldn't even do that! We have a clear border where one ends and the other begins. We have a separate district board, etc etc etc. WE ARE NOT TORONTO. |

Yeah I agree, if Mississauga was separated it would probably do very well. |
