| I've heard some classical I really like and some that I find rather boring. What would you say is the best classical pieces (from any time or maybe it's a movie score?). I really like some Mozart stuff and the WoW music. As well as generally good movie scores. So what's the best classical stuff (modern or old)? |

| Oh come on. You really shouldn't have any trouble finding information on classical music. There's not a genre on Earth that's had more written about it. Why ask on TA? |

One of my favorite classical CDs is Mozart - Symphony No. 29 - Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
I love all the tracks on this CD especially this gem of a piece "Symphony No. 29- Andante" :eyes:

None of that is classical. It's just orchestrated music. Just because it uses similar instruments doesn't make it classical.
If you want to get into it, I suggest doing a bit of research on the different time periods and the composers that are associated with them, then you'll be able to ask more specific questions and get better answers as a result.
Personally I could never get into Mozart, Bach or Beethoven much. And despite every other classical snob out there hating him, I rather like Tchaikovsky, and to a lesser extent Brahms. |
