saw my grandpa a couple times when I was younger...He died when I was around 2 yrs old so I never knew him.
Both times, he was standing just inside my bedroom next to a picture of me and him that was hanging on the wall.
His ghost was actually blueish white and translucent...It was scary and I didn't really know what to do, so I just watched him for a few seconds then pulled the covers over my face both times. I forgot what happened next, but it seems like I fell asleep/passed out 10 seconds later.. |

speaking of ghosts, here's an interesting paper on a phenomenon that most people almost certainly would term as haunting. An engineer happened to experience it himself and with some luck was able to figure out what was going on. He then wrote a paper which appeared in the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research. Quite entertaining and not really technical.
