but i think you need a motherboard that supports temp or has built-in temp sensors for it to work. case temp generally refers to ambient temp...unless someone has a sensor specifically attached to the case (no idea why)
fan speed is also monitored by the motherboard/bios...not sure which one actually does the monitoring/calculation :p:p:p

hmmmmmmm...... the proggy refuses to work for my win98 system... and besides, i don't have any sensors anyway... oh well! |

everyone's desktop is so neat and clean! and only like 1/8 full.
mine is almost completely full of stuff....
hey, you are spossed to USE your desktop...
and why does everyone have XP? Isn't 98 good enough??

Well get xp, its never slows down, and is very stable, my mates has been on for a 8 days now, and is fine. Make sure you get xp proffesional though.
Oh and having a lot of stuff on your desktop aint good, as it takes longer to load and stuff, also it just looks cluttered :) |
