how would it be funny if guv burned down?
i dunno, but id find/make time to stand on queens quay, point, and laugh. there's your answer. i don't like guv, geez. sorry for ripping on your temple:rolleyes: its just a hole IMO, its a ing warehouse. at least places like footwork, and from what i heard of Sonic make an effort to bring a more enjoyable experience to the people who attend(ed) events there. theres a number of reasons i dont like guvernment, my comment was a joke, move on, why do you care about what i have to say anyways ? you're right, and i do just that, there are more exciting events elsewhere and i attend them when possible. guv has catered to my tastes 20% of the time, and i dont like it because of its inability to cater to my tastes, which i understand is difficult to do, you cant please everyone. guv doesnt please me, and if it was gone, i wouldn't miss it. thats why i said what i said, which im going to say for the final time, was a joke, i dont wish for a hard woring club owner to lose his venue. who does? |

With all due respect, you have no idea what kind of an effort goes into making special events and regular saturdays happen at the Guv.. they don't just happen. Even events with names that have been here over and over take months of planning and negotiations and tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. For you to call the Guv a " hole" further proves that you're just some dumb kid that doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
say that again when you're at least of age and been to clubs all over the world. There are very few clubs that come close to the Guv, in terms of size, sound, lights, number of people, talent etc..
I've traveled all over, and being in the industry I've met a lot of people and EVERYONE i have met, knows of the Guv and has heard nothing but good things. Everyone I've met that's gone says it's one of the most incredible clubs they've ever been to or played at.
That being said, the megaclubs obviously aren't for everyone (myself included).. different strokes for different folks ya know. I personally am NOT a fan of the huge clubs/events. But you have to give credit where credit is due. The people behind Guv have spent over 10 years of 70+ hour work weeks and millions upon millions of dollars turning that "warehouse" into something truly unique and special. Even though it's not for you, you should recognize and appreciate it for what it is and be proud of having such a world renowned and respected club in your city |

well, most people dont know what chaos goes on in the Ink offices prior to a big event. seeing everyone making tons of phone calls, numerous meetings, and people just running around like headless chickens trying to get ready for the big night.
but whatever, evan, the kid is lost.
i wonder if joel and stephan know that he is underage and attend events at their venue? |
