| When people use the term "that's gay" for something bad or derogatory. Seriously, is this the 1960s? There's nothing bad about the color of your skin or the sexuality you are born with. What gets me is that the many people who use that term aren't even homophobic. I don't think they realize what they are saying when they do it. It makes them sound ignorant though. |

Just out of curiosity, would you say something like that in a conversation if you knew that person was gay? Obviously words are just words. I just think it sucks that someone who can't change how they were created have to put up with so much banter. I probably wouldn't like it if I constantly heard bad things about my nationality, height, etc.
I'm not perfect myself. I used to do the same thing...without even realizing what I was doing. I'm not politically correct by any means, but I do respect the nature of human beings.
Just really does make you think though. Society tends to make fun of or put down minorities. Sucks. |

its all ed up. look how the term "nigga" is being used. people have forgotten or don't even know the origins of that term. its' thrown around like nothing.

yes, but do you throw it around when you're talking to black people? that's my point. a gay person wouldn't appreciate hearing their sexuality being used in a derogatory way. |

totally agree with ya. i personally don't use the term in general out of respect.
i do slip and use the term gay/homo more often then not. more of a bad habit (especially when referencing Bas or Josh Allen). maybe i should try and be more conscience of its usage. |

The smelly BO guy at a party.
I dont understand why all the time at the Avalon, Vanguard and places down here in SD there's that one smelly guy in the party. How hard is it to walk in the bathroom spray some ax and tip a buck?
Its more common at the pool/day parties of course, but still noticeable inside clubs/partys and especially massive's. |
