i am using my girlfriends ipod and i cant figure out how to turn it off

Don't all iPods turn off the same way???
May not the first gen. iPod...but i'm sure 2-4 and Mini/Nano do as well...

hahaha i think your right, i just thought that i remembered holding menu on my 4th gen, but now that i think of it, it was probably the play/pause button
