| Didja know that its a common misconception that dolphins save drowning humans by pushing them to the shore? There's a theory that the dolphins may be just playing and in process end up saving an occasional human by pushing them to shallow waters. The ones that get pushed in the opposite direction? Well those have yet to complain. :) |

That may very well be, but manatees taste far better.
I'd put the taste and texture of dolphin somewhere between spotted owl and bald eagle - it sounds great and exotic, but just ends up being stringy and lean. Manatees, however, have such tender meat on them - it's almost like eating a trout-flavoured pig! |
