i bend my other hand and just put it under my head / my pillow, that way i'm sort of just resting my head on my hand.
kind of like this:

yah i put it under her neck with a pillow on top, that was it's soft and comfortable for both of us.
of course you always, ALWAYS, reach around and cup the titty.
my other hand rest on the side of her body, i like to put my fingers into the waistband (if she's wearing anything) to keep my arm in place.
realistically by the end of the night i'm always on opposite sides. |

My theory is that spooning is for spooning time and sleep is for sleeping time so it really doesn't matter.  |

| in general when im sleeping in the same bed as a girl she is on my right side. dunno why but it works out that way. well i have 2 ed up shoulders but my right one is more messed up than the left. no matter what im uncomfortable with my arm under her but i deal with it for a bit and then it just becomes too much. :( |
