i just hope you know i'm not attacking you, but actually trying to get more input...you say guido schneider? yet if it was just intro to outro 32 second mixes wouldnt you be able to tell what track it was? And do you really think dj's shouldn't post sets unless they mash up everything? We can agree to diagree on that, but id just like you to elaborate. I'm seriously interested. To me if you cant tell which track is which and there is no beat conflicts then im happy. |

| See that was just my first impression so its not completely fair, ill give it another listen and let you know what i think second time around. as far as mashing up, i dont think everything should be mashed, a couple here and there is fine. It just didn't grab my attention, thats the main point. Maybe it connects better with others but thats how I felt. |

| i respect that, im asking you this, because no one really takes the time to give negative reviews, and ill get way more out of them than..yeah dude good mix. 6 months ago i was throwing cds and breaking them because beatmatching wasn't simple...i think i have that down pat now, maybe 6 months down the road ill be better at what you are talking about. I really appreciate this kind of feedback. |

| 2 pioneer 1000 mk3's and i added an 800 (the mk3 is such a waste of money right now because honnestly i dont use them to full potential.) using the xone 64, but he is right i dont eq enough yet and abuse the high low passes a bit too much. I should just pirate a copy of ableton and play yoji songs at low bpm:p |

you can never be too good at beatmatching
beatmatching in your room is different than beatmatching in a club where a million things can affect your performance
bad mixer, bad monitors, bad decks, being a little tipsy, etc etc...
ie, you can always improve. |

| i don't want to toot my own horn, but just got an email from steve bug saying he enjoyed this! Ill take any critisms you guys have, but hope one review won't stop you from listening. I'm always open to suggestions and if any of you have more i'm all for getting better. I'm on cloud nine. |

| downloading now.. I can only give you the type of review of if the set 1)gets my feet/brain tapping or 2) it doesn't. About 90 per cent of the downloads I do off this site don't so I guess I'm picky about my beats :) |
