PVD has always been like that mate. He picks a set of tunes and plays them for 6 months just in a slightly different order. Even more now hes got Ableton to do it on.
Then theres the "PVD signature tunes" that he will always throw in like For An Angel, Ruff Drivers - Dreamin etc etc.
Thats why i prefer to hear him do longer sets cuz he plays a lot more of the tunes he used to play. Cuz if he picks a duff set of tunes then you are stuck with it for a good while if you just see him play shorter "festival" sets.
Tbh Armin is well guilty of it now. In fact all the big names are. They stay too much to the tried and tested especially at big events |
