I was gonna say..VERY notable NYTA meetup that nite at Shelter (totally *unplanned* I mite add since Drew and I were kinda repping www.glowsticking.com at the time, a whole krew had come for the *rave* in the basement), but we weren't feeling it since we had come for D&L...so we headed up to the top floor and then the roof...there I met *madd* ppl including Big Mike, really said hi to both Tae and Akko, saw Liz for the 2nd time - first time had been in the rain at Summerstage), and managed to finally talk to Al (had been intimidated b4) and told him I had seen him at PVD at Times Sq Virgin Megastore with his "PVD is GOD" shirt :toothless...AND *that* was the nite Jen (lazy chick) first bounced up to me and was like,"I saw YOUU at Tiestoooo!!! (Boston Avalon June 2004) -- back then she <3 Tiesto to the nth!!! :tongue2 but yea so u coulddd say that event cemented my place as a regular on the NYTA forums. Prior to that I was on and off the boards to some extent, but after meeting someone soo open and awesome, I JUST had to take initiative and meet up more ppl like that :D |
