as if the sample were being played on vinyl and the power was turned off?
as used in the von stroke mix of heater, audion - noiser, and the 3 channels mix of who's afraid of detroit
any ideas? |

Very simple effect. Get your track pressed onto a dub plate, play it on a turntable recording into sound forge, turn the turntable off....... |

Just mixdown the section of audio you want to do it on, then load it in Soundforge or something and apply a downward pitchbend on it, job done...
For it to be convincing you may need the pitchbend to be in a curve, you might have to fiddle around to get the correct curve for it to sound right. |
