just a quick question...what does everyone like using for samples?

The samples that come with FL are okay but I want to branch out now and I'm just not finding the sounds I'm looking for, even with major tweaking, I'm leaning more and more towards progressive house and psy lately, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance :toocool:

I'm no fruity user but you generally can't go wrong with vengeance sample packs.

Thanks T-Soma and Khayat, I checked out the website last night and listened to the MP3 demos, sounds like good stuff, I'll be ordering those...

also, does anyone have Vengeance Essential House?

If so, is it good?

Yeah, vengeance essential club sounds is a very good collection of samples. Although, I'd also do some researching for other ones. Would be kind of weird if someone was like...I recognize that effect or instrument. If you care to create, fruityloops drumsynth live is not bad either.

I'm definitely into creating my own sounds, I'm just looking for some sample collections to work with for composition purposes, mainly for inspiration.

I've spent quite a bit of time already creating and morphing sounds with what FL has to offer and I'm sure I'll continue to do so.

I'm exploring all avenues right now and just having fun creating music.

Funny thing is, I hate using somebody else's sounds in my music, especially anything I want other people to hear, but creating everything from scratch takes time so I'd like to fool around with samples as a side project so to speak.

i've yet to hear a sample pack superior to that of vengeance's
