So the TA's went out to Grand Bend and rocked the beach with solid house tunes. I would have never expected such a good time on the beach.

Wicked wicked time. Totally unexpecting the goodness of the beach. However, I couldnt get drunk for the life of me.. guess vodka doesnt do its damage anymore.

So Saturday was a surprise to me as well.
I had been planning this Beach event for the last 2 months...It began with my friend Sarah asking/Telling me that she has never experienced one of my Beach bashes before...In the past I had always organized them to be at Port Stanley, but in doing that I always got shut down by the cops (the reason being people where complaining about the noise). So last year I said screw Port Stanley, lets do it at Grand Bend!!! And to my surprise things went off with out any problems.
Sooo this year I decided to bring out my big sound system.
I originally invited people using Evite.com and than I moved it to FaceBook!!!
All in all the day went amazing. I even was able to talk to the OPP who hung out and watched for a while but didn’t do anything what so ever. There main concern was people drinking on the beach and I think most people either concealed there drinks well or where not drinking. I mentioned that in the FaceBook event as well, that Bylaw Officers and OPP would be patrolling and I guess people read the warning.
People asked me why I was doing this at the beach and my reply was that it was a “Family Picnic”.
Maybe next year I’ll do something bigger but I think the size of it this year was just perfect!
