Ableton Tiesan tie no

Hey I was wondering how to tie notes together with midi notes on Ableton. Any help would be appreciated.
Also I was had another question regarding Ableton. I was wondering how you guys can get things that you created in live mode to play in the arrange mode(When you hit tab). The only way I have been able to do this is if I freeze the track and then consolidate it. Then it will play in the arrange mode.
I know these questions must seem really newbie, so don't flame me too hard. But if you can help it would be greatly appreciated. |

I strongly suggest reading the manual.
But I'll be nice.
At the top of the screen there is a red button with 3 lines and an arrow that. It is right near your play, stop and record buttons.
Click that.
As for tying notes together, I don't know what you are on about.
Now go read the manual before the angry TAs get you. |
