hah, i've been only banned twice, the first being banned over a pic i linked, in which the hotlink was showing goatse instead of the actual pic. when the mods finally understood it was a mistake, then they re-admitted me. i found it funny, so i made a coming back thread with a crappy ASCII (yeah, that's right, a letter and character) drawing of goatse, and lucid banned me for that too. :stongue:

Who in s name really cares all that much?
Jay is a bore - a one trick pony who's only purpose here is too stir (something he's made clear himself several times), when he gets banned he makes a HUGE fuss about it, claims he doesn't need TA and that's he gone for good, and then as soon as he's unbanned he spends every waking minute making a ridiculous number of unnecessary posts.
In reality I don't mind him, but for s sake does it get tired when he's around here screaming "Attention, give it to me!" all day.
Edit: And just for the record, I do think that if Jay chilled the out it wouldn't be a problem, but honestly - plenty of people have had their accounts suspended and/or banned for making an excessive number of irritating posts without having ever done anything that was outright "banworthy" (Arcadia, anyone?), so how people think this is somehow a "new" practice is beyond me. |

I do think there are a few people who have taken their suspensions in stride and come back better off, but obviously for the most part that simply doesn't happen.
Also, this is probably another one of those times where someone needs to say "TranceAddict.com/forums is not a Democracy."

Meh - I'd also like to see you point me to something I've ever really done that would warrant a ban or suspension.
And I've certainly gotten into it with other mods before :p
Honestly - some of the things people say or the way they act after they've been suspended, you'd think they'd had their parents murdered. |
