| The two years I spent as a night shift security guard, I smoked after 1 a.m. almost on a nightly basis. It was the most boring job in the ing world, and my days off were monday and tuesday. I only took the job for car payments and after quitting it felt so weird working a day shift job. The change took a toll on my body the first couple of weeks but I was so glad it was over. I don't think I could ever work a night shift job again, even on a high salary. |

for those of you who will be awake tonite, don't forget to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower :)
The Perseus constellation is just about rising in the north-eastern direction right now on the east coast.
| quote: | The Perseid meteor shower peaks on the new-Moon night of Sunday–Monday, August 12–August 13 and can be seen from any place in the northern hemisphere. The Perseid meteors appear to stream away from their radiant near the border of Perseus and Cassiopeia.
The meteor rate, for an observer at a dark-sky site in the northern temperate latitudes, increases to roughly 30 per hour in the predawn hours on Saturday, 45 per hour on Sunday morning, and 80 per hour before the sky starts to get light on Monday morning. |
