Does a trance scene even exist in Ireland????

Not in Northern Ireland, but in the South.
Cos I live there and I cant find ANYTHING AT ALL.
In the local clubs they pride themselves on playing tripe like DB Boulevard - Point of View, Supermen Lovers - Starlight, and at best, Daft Punk - One more time.
But never any trance.
Anyone any thoughts on all this???
We need a massive event of some sort to take place. Urgently. |

There's not that much in Eire trance wise I've noticed that.
Space @ Temple Theatre in Dublin sometimes has Trance Djs and Red @ The Red Box has some more proggy Djs.
But I know theres a club in Dublin which has Carl Cox play out there a lot and I've seen Sasha and Digweed on the lineups to, pity is its not really trance.
Northern Ireland seems to get the Djs Like the Met and Lush @ Portrush. best thing is looking on Dj sites for dates, and look out for club tours but I think the Only cities in Eire clubs will visit will be Dublin and Cork. |

The grill in Letterkenny in Donegal has plenty of big Trance djs including Jules, Matt Hardwick,Tall Paul etc once a month in association with M8
Also their resident every Sat nite Pascal was named Irish Dj of the year, last year
The Grill Complex holds about 2,500 people and is a good spot to check out it is about an hours drive from where I live.

I am Going to Paul Van Dyk at the mighty Lush on the 24th of May and then to Ibiza for two weeks for the opening parties on June 22nd Will be serious!!

The Grill in Letterkenny is quite amazing, I love it, I'm about 30 mins drive from it. The Temple Theatre is the only other club i've been in that equals it, I was only at it the once right enough, since it's about 150 miles away. Haven't made it to Lush yet, but I will in the summer.
Anyway we have Creamfields coming now in June 29th, they've started to reveal the line-up, it will include Sasha, Pete Tong, Deep Dish, Slam, Seb Fontaine, Timo Mass, Erick Morillo, Judge Jules, Xpress 2, Jon Carter, Col Hamilton, Lisa Lashes, and many more to be added they say. Tickets are €59. Looks like Turbotrance will be in Ibiza. |
