lol, if you're talking about the kick-explosions commonly heard in trance thats ez.
just add a ReverB to your kick track and adjust the decay, dry/wet controls.

heres the mp3 sample.

For that BOOOOM sound, you need to do this:
Predelay
Decay (Alot)
High Damping Off/Or very few.
Reverb Knob - 10.0 +, depending how rough you want it.
Low cut knob - off
This is the very basic setup to make it to sound like an explosion.
Depending in if you want the kick sound to be up front, or not, you can play with the *Dry* Knob, wich will hide the kick in case you just want the BOOM sound.
Now add a compressor to make it to sound better, but, only with the reverb should do the job ;).
Audio Sample using Fruity default kick, if you use a better oneshould sound better, this one is too ligh, plus I did not add compressor at all, so you hear how it sounds only with the reverb on it..

This is the setup I used:
Predelay - 250
Low Cut - Off
Decay - 14.00
Dry - 100
Reverb - 71%
Room sized 41
Highcut - 9.1
High damping - 10.1
Kopi =o. |

| FYI, those explosions, if made with drums at all, also usually contain a snare. |
