like richard durand for example..

i hate it when people use crowd cheering samples in their tune..
its like they are so desperate lol...

In a tune, I generally hate it.

In a live set (EDM or otherwise) it can make or break the set.
Victor Dinaire
sometimes it sounds cool, sometimes not, depends on the track
THE_Chris
Rarely does it work.
Ian
to echo most sentiments, it doesn't usually work. there are people who's work can be clever enough to pull it off sometimes but these people are few and far between and certainly don't include guys like durand
Lyle
When used right, can have a really good effect, but generally, it's a cheap pop, like whenever WWE bring back Hulk Hogan...

You mean like Scooter?
Lunar Phase 7
New Noise - Refused.

Really works in that tune.

Others it don't.

no. there was a couple of hardcore tunes circa 1997 where small crowd noise snippets were in and they worked, but since then, and before then, nah
